(next month will be September)BSU Reunion
Dear BSU Friends,
I can hardly believe that our BSU Reunion is only a month away. It is August already. You will be receiving a letter from Gerald Glasco in mid-August. There you will find your registration letter for the reunion. Also, we are enclosing a personal survey sheet. We want to know more about you. please fill it out as soon as possible. If I have them back by September first I plan to prepare a booklet for your enjoyment. I should have it ready for you at the reunion. (It all depends on you).
I have added the names of John Davis, Agnes Davis, and Darrell Molen to the "New Chapel Singers" group. That makes us 30. (More will be added). I have dropped the name of Betty Cox. The number of Chapel Singers enrolled is good. I will get more after the registration letter has gone out (these names are those with email addresses.)

I will close this August newsletter with a picture of Nate Adams, as well as a biographical sketch. If you need help with motels recheck your May newsletter or let me know your needs.

Nate Adams Biographical Information

Nate was born in Princeton, KY, but grew up in Illinois, the son of the late Tom Adams (longtime Director of Missions in Fox Valley Baptist Association and columnist for The Illinois Baptist) and Romelia Adams.
Nate holds an honorary Doctorate from Judson College in Elgin, a Masters degree in Management and Development of Human Resources from National-Louis University in Evanston, and a Bachelors degree in Communication Arts from Judson College in Elgin. |

He comes to us as Executive Director following nine years as Vice President for Missions Mobilization at the North American Mission Board and 17 years with Christianity Today. Nate was the founding co-pastor of New Hope Community Church in St. Charles and also served as a youth minister at First Baptist in St. Charles, as well as interim pastor for three churches in Georgia. He is the author of four books, including The Home Team and The Acts 1:8 Challenge. He and his wife Beth have been married for twenty-one years and have three sons: Caleb, Noah and Ethan. | |
