Dear BSU Members,
May is gone!! Where does the time go? I know you are busy, and I am too. The 15th Annual BSU Reunion is only a few months away. Many of you are making plans to attend. I sent a letter earlier about motel rooms. We will need to stay in Marion this year. There are no motels in Herrin. Well, Juanita Kunce said, "We do have one, but I wouldn't let my dog stay there!" Juanita doesn't even have a dog!! So we will need to get reservations for overnight stay in marion. I think you have all the material you need concerning motels. I sent that information to you last week.
I think you will enjoy the program this year. I have asked Rayford Raby to lead the "New Chapel Singers" again. This was such a treat last year. Many of you have signed up to sing with the group agian. Let me know if you want to sing. I have 25 committed. I do not have the names of those who do not have e-mail addresses. I am sure there are 10 more of them.
I have a Quartet planned for your enjoyment. Many of you asked about getting one together. Well, I have one! It wasn't easy. Let's hope all of them keep their promise! Would you settle for a Trio? I have asked the McClerrens to share their presentation of "A Visit with Mary Todd Lincoln." You will like this!! And on Friday, Nate Adams will be our inspirational speaker during the morning session. There is more, but this should whet your appetite.
George Casey will be our photographer this year. Jerry Casey will be singing. We have the best caterer in Southern Illinois to serve us again. This year I have been making plans all year, it seems.
Well, let me list some news items for you:

- Ruth Doughty has a new mailing address
- Gerald Glasco has a new e-mail address. So does sue
- Richard Stewart has a new e-mail address
- Robert Ross has a new e-mail address.
- Several of our members have undergone surgery or are awaiting surgery. Joy Mayo, Louise Boyd, maybe others!
- I have listed the death date for Arthur Grigg Memories
- Judy Harbison Gathers lost her father in May. He was a member of the UBC in Carbondale.
- Continue to pray for Dale Clemens, Micki Nicol, Doris Dempsey, and others.
