March 2006 News

Dear BSu Members and Friends,

February was a cold month in Collinsville. On Feb. 18th it was 6 above zero. It was 8 above on the 19th. That is cold!!! I am happy that several of you are in a warmer climate. I suggest you stay there until I tell you it is warmer and you can come home. Time flies so we will soon be sweating the July and August (dog days) of summer.

Now for a bit of news:

Helen Ruth Dillow is walking with new knees
Rinnie Spencer is walking with new knee
George Davis is improving (we are so glad)
Elaine Dickson is optimistic about cancer treatment

More "New Chapel Singers" are needed. I have 39. Let me know if you want to sing with group.
Our theme for Reunion is Music-Music-Music
Rayford Raby will be the Director for the NCS

I was surprised (yet delighted) when I heard that many of you were members of the Walnut Street Baptist Church during your college days. This will be a homecoming for you!!
