Yes it is true March is a windy month. It is also a cold month. February was cold too. On Feb. 13 I went in for my second cataract surgery. I am happy to report that I can see better now. Things are so bright!! Many of you knew about my surgery and remembered me in your prayers. I am so grateful. I did feel secure in God's hands. I am ready to get back to planning the BSU Reunion. Now a few news items.

Mary Mighell Asbury was active in BSU at SIUC in the 1950s. She taught school at Jonesboro for many years and was active in the church there. At the time of her death she was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church near Buncombe. Her brother Rev. Bob Mighell was also in BSU in 1950s.

I am happy to report that Doris Dempsey came home from the hospital on Friday--Feb 8. She is doing well. Continue to pray for Doris. She has a lot of treatments to experience.

I have placed a rather current picture of Taylor and Catherine Neely on the Current Photo page of the web site.(Click) The picture was taken in 2005. Taylor died in Jan. of 2007 The picture is very good. On the vintage page (Click) you can find a picture of Taylor and Catherine when they were chosen Valentine King and Queen back in 1948. Check it out!!

Bob and Suzi Stuckey are in Sumatra Indonesia until Jun. 2007. I am sure they would love to hear from you. Their email address can be found in the Directory (Click).

Rev. Bob Mighell and his wife Lois Ann now live in Copperos, Texas. I mentioned him in the news item above. His sister was Mary Mighell Asbury.
