Those April flowers did arrive. They were right on time, too. God knows best. Easter was a
bit early. I was ready for it though. Now, May is here, and God has sent us even more
blessings Yes, April showers brought those promised May flowers.
All systems are go for our 2009 Annual BSU Reunion. We will meet in Carbondale in September --
24-25. Our first session will be Thursday night at the Student Ministries Building on Oakland
Ave. I have made arrangements with Chase Abner. An outstanding program is being planned. You
will like!!! On Friday morning we will meet at the University Baptist Church. All arrangements
have been made there too. Mildred Odle has agreed to help us, others have volunteered too.
This will be our worship program. The "New Chapel Singers" will be on the program during the
morning worship hour -- then following the noon luncheon, Nate Adams will be out quest speaker.
Now, I have had my 4th Chemo treatment. So far so good!! I praise the Lord for his presence at
all times. I thank you all too for your prayers and concerns. I felt your prayers. It hasn't been
easy at times, but your love and concern has helped me more than you know.
