March 2010 News
Well, finally February has come to an end!! We had snow, snow, and then more snow. We had ice, ice, and then more ice!! We had cold, cold and then more cold. Yes, it was a month to remember. We survived somehow. I never missed Sunday morning Church---kept warm and dry---and worked a dozen zigsaw puzzles (ministerially speaking). The winter Olympics help pass the time too. What a display of skill, talent, endurance, and team spirit. I enjoyed watching the events so very much. I am proud of the good old USA. All of this in just 28 days. Now, February, 2010 is gone!! March is here--Spring is near--and new things are springing up everywhere. It was worth waiting for. During the month I met with Ginger (our new Pres.) and Gene Wells (also Jim and Rosie Robinson) to make plans for the18th Annual BSU Reunion. Ir will be held at the First Baptist Church in Vandalia on Sept 23-24, 2010. Ginger is going to make us a good President. She has talent, endurance, youth???,and a real love for the BSU work. Please enjoy her leadership--cooperate with her efforts--and plan to attend the BSU reunion. Now, my March news items.

  4. A letter from Ruth Crockett reads,"Hello Helen, I just wanted to let you know that Dale Crockett of North Port Florida and his twin brother David (Gale) of North Little Rock, Arkansas were diagnosed with prostate cancer within 7 weeks of each other. Dale has already begun treatment and Gale's physicians are conducting further tests with the view of beginning treatment very soon. Both men are in excellent spirits but your prayers would be appreciated"

She was with me when I took my first breath and I was with her when she took her last. I miss her so much every day. Six months later on September 8, Dad, Burdell O'Neil passed away. Sometimes I feel like my heart will never heal. Thank you for your kind words about Mom and Dad. Joy (O'Neil) Colberg" The email address for Joy is deerwatcher1101@comcast.net"

We must be determined not to be moved by things our enemy does to get us off our faith in God's Word.
SAY THIS: "I'm not moved by what I see. I'm not moved by what I feel. I'm moved only by what I believe, and I believe the Word of God." (Copied)
